The parish of St Helen with St Martin
St Martin is one of two churches in the parish, the other being St Helen Stonegate. It is a small city centre parish with a tiny resident population but the centre of city life and the historic seat of government. There are about 7 million visits a year made to York and the great majority pass through the parish.
The Parochial Church Council
The church is run by the St Helen with St Martin PCC.
Our new life together
We are now part of the city centre group of parishes comprising All Saints Pavement, St Denys and St Olave, with St Lawrence and Holy Trinity Micklegate, all served by our priest in charge, the Reverend Jane Nattrass.
